Karen - Guitar/Vocals

A move from Sydney to Melbourne in the mid-1990's saw Karen continue pursuing music.

She wrote and performed in Fred Astereo with Stanley Paulzen of Tlot Tlot and Mark Monnone of the Lucksmiths. Other Melbourne-based alliances followed including duo Seesaw with Mabel’s vocalist Kim Mitchell, Greenkeeper and country outfit The Acheron Way with various Candle Records musicians. She gleefully performed backing vocals on the spectacular children’s albums produced by fellow Daisy, Little Feet Music’s talented Rachel Parkinson.

Karen also began a teaching career during which she performed with husband Dale at a 2005 fund raising event for Mt. Eliza Primary School. The line-up also included Paul Kelly, The Fauves and The Basics.

Karen’s main musical performances have been kindergarten fundraisers, school concerts and assemblies.

Karen now lives in Canberra with her family.
